未来前景
计算机行业是新西兰政府官方公布的新西兰长期短缺行业之一，从新西兰移民政策中可以看出，计算机从业人员的确是该国长期以来一直缺乏的技术工种。学生毕业后拥有优厚的移民加分，并且移民率非常之高。
主要表现在，只要拥有计算机本科学士学位文凭便算作为长期短缺学历，移民的时候就会有额外的加分。与其他类长期短缺课程文凭需要多年工作经验才能算做长期短缺学历的科目来比，计算机专业的门槛算是非常的低了。在此政策影响下，很多新西兰计算机专业毕业的留学生，在没去找工作的情况下就已够资格申请移民了。
